Jeff Mermelstein

Jeff Mermelstein was born in 1957 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and has lived and worked in New York City since 1979. His work is represented in numerous prestigious collections including The International Center of Photography, The Art Institute of Chicago and The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His work has appeared in Aperture, DoubleTake, Artforum, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, and many other publications. Mermelstein's photographs are reproduced in nine photobooks, including three monographs. His newest book Twirl / Run was published in December 2009 by powerHouse Books. He is represented by Rick Wester Fine Art.
